涤纶针刺毡是布袋除尘器中的主力滤料,是采用非织造针刺工艺,将涤纶短纤维梳理铺网在纤维交错排列、空隙分布均匀的细纤维布上后针刺成毡。此滤料强度大、弹性回复性能好、织物尺寸稳定、耐磨性能好、空隙率大,透气性能较好,使用寿命长,除尘效果好,常温(低于130℃)下有良好的力学性能和耐酸碱性。由于涤纶价格低廉,因此涤纶针刺毡是低温下最划算的过滤介质。
涤纶针刺毡根据不同厂家粉尘的特性,常有混入抗静电纤维、烧毛、轧光、拒水防油浸渍等处理方式,所制造的涤纶针刺毡在原有性能上又增加了易清灰(粉尘剥离快)、拒水防油(抗结露)、抗静电性能,形成系列产品。
针刺过滤毡与一般机织滤料相比,具有如下优点:
1、孔隙率大,透气性好,能提高设备负载能力并降低压损与能耗。针刺过滤毡是利用交错排列,孔隙分布均匀的细短纤维滤布,孔隙率可达70%以上,为机织滤布的一倍。用针刺呢做滤袋可缩小袋式收尘器的尺寸并能显著降低能耗。
2、扑尘效率大,气体排放浓度低。实测表明:过滤325目滑石粉(中位径7.5μm左右)的效率可达99.9-99.99%,比绒布提高一个数量级。气体排放浓度可大大地底于国家规定标准。
3、表面经热扎及烧毛或涂层等整理,表面平整光滑,不易堵塞,不易变形,容易清灰,使用寿命长。针刺毡的使用寿命一般是机织滤布的1~5倍。
4、化学稳定强。不仅可过滤常温或高温气体,而且可过滤含酸和碱的侵蚀性气体。

Specification:
Polyester needle felt is the most versatile, most cost effective and most widely used filter medium for dust collection. It is strong, abrasion resistant, can work up to 150 and has good resistance to common acids, solvents and oxidising agents.

Disadvantages
Polyester  s only real weakness is a tendency to hydrolyse at elevated temperature which means that moisture can break down the fibres and cause them to revert to their basic constituents. This results in powdering of the fibres and a serious loss of strength.
